At the same time, the tension wedges 12 fit to the guiding surfaces of the recess 2 of the frame 1. The set screws 14 serve to move the clamping block 4. The device works as follows. When the refractory plate 8 is worn, it is replaced with a new one, setting it in a position in which it is kept stationary between the support 3 and clamp 4 pads during operation, which protects it from wear due to the frictional forces that occur when the shutter opens and closes. It is fastened with a bandage tape 6 against the effect of internal stresses. The pressure exerted by the tape 6 is evenly distributed around the entire perimeter of the plate 8. One tension wedge 12 is made in the form of a threaded sleeve, which can move along a thread that is on the end of a screw with a shoulder 15 (Fig. 3 and 4). Another tension wedge 12, made in the form of a sliding sleeve, is located on the smooth part of the screw 13 and presses against the ledge 15. As the driving screw of the tightening screw 13 rotates using the handle 9, one tensioning wedge 12 moves along the thread in the direction of the other wedge, adjacent to the step 15, and pulled through the reverse wedge 11 tape 6.
